Each school year, students maximize their efforts for ten months to ensure they are reading on grade level. The two months of summer are always a welcome break but can be extremely detrimental to children if they don’t pick up a book for eight weeks.

exposing them to different cultures and art forms while also providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
On Mondays, FTY meets in Pineville for grades K – 6th grade and on Fridays, seventh-twelfth grades meet at FUMCA from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Every first Saturday of the month, FUMCA offers open gym from 1:00 – 3:00 PM for children ages 8-18.
On a denominational level, we have a faithful group of ladies who proudly and consistently represent us as the United Women in Faith (formerly UMW). UWF is a mission-oriented organization; recent projects have included supporting Hope House, Fostering Community, and our homebound outreach ministry. UWF meets monthly to hear perspectives
